Hello Everyone! And Welcome!

Grace's World | September 30, 2019 | By

Hello there peoples! I’m so excited to be writing my FIRST blog post! I hope to post my art, about my stories, rambles, as well as give some of my favorite blogs some well-deserved recognition.

So, a little bit about me. I’m a total farm girl. On our 8-acre farm, we have 106 broiler chickens and maybe 20 egg-layers. We also have our cows Julie, Elsa, Lia, Lia’s calf Clover Faith, and Jay, our bull. We have two Great Pyrenees dogs, Bear and Orshee. We have 4 pigs and around 6 ducks. No horse yet, but I’m working on it. 😉

Some of my interests are reading, writing, and art. I’m an avid reader. I read wherever and whenever I can. I like books by Louisa May Alcott. I also enjoyed reading Melanie Dickerson’s books The Healer’s Apprentice and The Noble Servant. I also have her book The Merchant’s Daughter on hold. I also enjoy the Cupcake Diaries series by Coco Simon and the Explorer Academy series by Trudi Trueitt.

I’m currently working on three books. All of them are fantasy. One is currently known to me and my friends simply as DAR. It’s all about a girl and her sister who are kidnapped and taken to another dimension. My second book is about a secret winged sanctuary discovered by an evil scientist who wants nothing more than to use my poor Wynged. My third is a Minecraft fanfiction about teens who grew up with the DNA of different mobs in them (I’m falling in love with one of my characters). I also write unofficial fanfiction.

I am a manga artist, mostly self-taught, although my best friend got me on the correct path. I don’t do comics or anything, I just draw people who jump out of my imagination and say ‘put me on paper!’

Some of my favorite movies are Peter Pan, The Hidden World, Anastasia,  Mulan, and the whole Star Wars saga. I’m very excited for Rise of Skywalker in December, and for the live-action Mulan in 2020.

Last but not least, I am a Christian. I’m striving for a close relationship with Jesus, and believe I am feeling a calling to be a medical missionary.

Thank you so much for putting up with me! Shout out to my friend’s blog Everyday Girl Tips and to the Inky RambleBeast blog for giving the little push I needed to start blogging!

Be blessed!
