Flash Fiction: I Can Hear the Sirens

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn’t post this last week. This is a quick fiction piece that I did while listening to Sirens by Fleurie. Some other songs that go with it (and are just bomb) are Deep End by Ruelle, Black Sea by Natasha Blume, and Under the Water by AURORA. This has minimal editing so I don’t know how good it is, but I really resonate with it. Here we go!

The 7777 Writing Tag

Grace's World | September 14, 2021 | By

Do you what both terrorizes and excites writers?

Sharing their work.

Sometimes writers have stories that simultaneously humiliate and inspire them hidden under a blanket and guarded by a baby dragon. Sometimes, writers boiling over with inspiration and excitement just can’t wait to share their stories with the world.

For my current story, I fall into the latter category.

I will do another Story Dig post next week but today, we’re going to look at my current work in progress. No title (yet), but it’s a fantasy novel that I’ve had kicking around in my mind for a while

The Dark Lord Clementine Review

Hey guys! Hopefully you’re getting this on Monday. I have sadly neglected all of you, and I am so sorry. I’ll hopefully have another Story Dig post next week, but today is a book review for The Dark Lord Clementine by Sarah Jean Horwitz.

Ain’t it great?

For this book review, I’m not doing spoilers, so those of you who want to know what you’re getting into can read it all!

The Fellowship of the Novel Characters

Hi everyone! I have had a little bit of a chaotic week (had a dance recital on the weekend and started a sewing camp this week) but I am here to bring you the next chapter of my series!

Credit: DuckDuckGo. I’m still in recital-mind and my class got to do swing dancing!

Warning: Lord of the Rings is rated PG-13, and while my writing will not be excessively gory, it will reflect the darkness and death that the Fellowship had to face. Also, spoilers.

Summary: Nobody uses contractions, and Frodo’s alive!

The Story Dig: Part One

Hi everyone! The day I am writing this is a Thursday, a whole weekend ahead of the time I plan to publish this! If I manage to post this on time, I will be really pleased with myself.

Today, I have a brand-sparkly-new series for you! It’s based off a series called The Storywell that I enjoyed on The Arbitrary Fairy Blog. You should totally check it out!

Anyways, the premise of the story is that the Author has created a Storywell to travel into her stories, where she introduces the Reader to her characters and world. I thought I would do something similar, but instead of a series of posts exploring my current WIP (Work In Progress), I thought I would go through my Google Docs history and show you all my old stories! There might be some rewrites, you might get a sense of what a weird person I used to be, and it’ll be a lot of fun! So pretend the little Read More button is a door. Once you click on it, you’ll walk out into the Story Dig.

The Fellowship of the Novel Characters

Hi everyone! Sorry I didn’t write yesterday, but I was spending the day with a friend I haven’t seen in four years! So this post is a day late, but here it is!

Credit: Bing Images. I’ve been listening to the clean Hamilton songs, and they’re a bop!

Warning: Lord of the Rings is rated PG-13, and while my writing will not be excessively gory, it will reflect the darkness and death that the Fellowship had to face. Also, spoilers.

Summary: Stella is really confused and scared, and there’s a weird, beautiful lady speaking gibberish.
